Tara Travellers Cafe in Pin Valley is our in-house restaurant at Tara House Homestay. Considering its remote location, Mudh has a limited number of restaurants to choose from. Guests usually eat at their homestays or head towards our cafe when they want more options.
Being the first cafe in Pin Valley, Tara Travellers Cafe has consistently delighted guests and visitors since many years. All of our delicious meals are prepared fresh, and only on order. Check out what our previous guests say about the cafe.
Guests can choose between eating out in three cheerful settings – the main cafe, rooftop area or the traditional Spiti dining room located in the lower floor of our home.
Most guests prefer to sit outdoors or indoors in the cafe, where tables and chairs are set up. Above all, the rooftop area is popular among those who wish to dine in the open surrounded by mountains. Our traditional dining room is also perfect for large groups of travellers to dine together, with food served fresh from the adjacent kitchen.
At Tara Travellers Cafe, we serve Indian, Chinese, Tibetan, Continental, Israeli and Spiti cuisine, including hot and cold beverages. Primarily vegetarian, we can also prepare and serve non-vegetarian dishes on advance notice. Almost all guests swear by our in-house specialty – Tibetan Pizza, which is a must try.
