Tara Travellers Cafe
Tara Travellers Cafe in Pin Valley is our in-house restaurant at Tara House Homestay.
Considering its remote location, Mud village has a limited number of restaurants. Guests usually eat simple meals at their homestays or head towards our cafe when they need more options.
Being the first cafe in Pin Valley, Tara Travellers Cafe has consistently delighted guests and visitors since many years. All of our delicious meals are prepared fresh, and only on order. Check out what our previous guests say about the cafe.
Our cafe is also very highly rated and liked on TripAdvisor.
In its new rebuilt avatar, Tara Travellers Cafe can comfortably seat around 35-40 guests, with stunning views of the mountains around Mud and Bhabha Pass. Just check out the photos!
We also offer a traditional Spiti dining room on the ground floor of Tara House Homestay. This is popular among large groups of travellers in winter to dine together, in the cosiness of a wood-fired tandoor, with food served fresh from the adjacent kitchen.
At Tara Travellers Cafe, we serve Indian, Chinese, Tibetan, Continental, Israeli and Spiti cuisine, including hot and cold beverages.
Primarily vegetarian, we can also prepare and serve non-vegetarian dishes on advance notice. Almost all guests swear by our in-house specialty – Tibetan Pizza, which is a must try. 😋
